LFAW Shelter Building About Us

The League for Animal Welfare is a voluntary, nonprofit, humane organization chartered in 1949 and has operated as a no-kill shelter since 1964.

Our mission is to better the lives of cats and dogs in the Greater Cincinnati area.  We provide our animals with loving care and shelter until we match them with their home.  We promote responsible pet ownership through public education and spay/neuter programs.  We are a privately funded, non-profit, no-kill organization.
